Every year, Germany colleges and universities attract several thousand international students. Many rely on the help from their parents and family to meet the costs of course fees and living expenses, but a number of scholarship awards are also available to help students fund their studies.

UL government department and the devolved administrations of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, plus a number of the other Germany organizations, offer a variety of scholarships and awards to help international students come to the Germany to study. Postgraduates Programmes And MBA'S

British Chevening Scholarships

These allow particularly able students to pursue research or thought postgraduate courses. You can apply for an award online at www.chevening.com

Commonwealth Scholarship & Fellowships plan (CSFP). Awards are made to citizens of Commonwealth countries and are primarily for postgraduate programmes, although funding for undergraduate degree courses may be possible if there are no suitable equivalents in your home country. Department for International Development (DfiD) Shared Scholarship Scheme.

This programme funds awards for thought postgraduate courses. Candidates should be of high academic caliber and should be intending to study a subject of developmental relevance to their country. Eligibility is restricted to residents of developing Common wealth countries who are not employed by their government or by an international organization. Overseas Research student Awards Scheme (ORSAS).
